Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare EDI records
• Support an Angular-based front-end by integrating APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation for users
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on Angular experience, including API integration and front-end component development
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
