Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation for users
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
