Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to manage healthcare EDI transactions
• Support the Angular-based front-end by integrating APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integration of APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools for deployment and monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
