Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Support and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, especially in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
