Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records and integrate with internal platform APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and support deployment and performance of back-end services in production on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks, including API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and relevant tools such as API Gateway and Lambda
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, along with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
