Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
• Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for healthcare data retrieval and transformation
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
