Angular/NodeJS Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application focused on processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and support an Angular-based dashboard front-end
- Write clean, testable code and participate in unit and integration testing, adhering to Agile methodologies
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
- Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
