Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate healthcare data services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and serving EDI healthcare records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and support the Angular-based dashboard front-end
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
- Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience in deploying and monitoring back-end services
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
