Angular/NodeJS Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
- Design and implement RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and transforming healthcare records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to the Angular-based front-end dashboard
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare environments
- Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure, including API Gateway and Lambda
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
