Angular/NodeJS Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
- Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end by integrating APIs and ensuring data accuracy for users
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment of back-end services on AWS
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Angular and back-end integration work
- Familiarity with AWS services related to API management and cloud deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
