Angular/NodeJS Developer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare EDI records
- Support and enhance an Angular-based dashboard front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation for users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
- Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
