AP Computer Science Tutor

Job Summary

To support students in grades 9-12, the contract AP Computer Science Tutor will provide remote test prep tutoring, creating customized lesson plans and conducting sessions that typically last 60-90 minutes, with availability primarily in the afternoons and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide AP Test Prep Tutoring to students, focusing on individual learning styles
• Create customized lesson plans that support students' academic goals
• Conduct regular and reliable tutoring sessions scheduled between 2PM and 8PM PST on weekdays and 10AM to 4PM on weekends

Required qualifications

• 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring Collegeboard's AP Computer Science program
• Availability for 3-12 hours per week
• Earned Bachelor's Degree
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• A passion for helping others learn
