API Developer (FastAPI & Python)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Developer (FastAPI & Python) for a contract to hire position, which is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Python
• Build microservices that integrate with databases and authentication services
• Containerize applications using Docker and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and OpenAPI/Swagger specs
• Strong experience with Docker and container-based development
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing
