API Development Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and implementation of the company's API ecosystem, the full-time API Development Manager will oversee the design, development, and management of APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an API strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure APIs
• Establish and enforce API governance policies and ensure continuous improvement in performance metrics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in API development and management
• Proven experience with API management platforms such as Azure API Management or AWS API Gateway
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Strong understanding of API security and cloud services, preferably Azure
