API Enablement Specialist

Job Summary

Driving revenue and adoption of APIs, the full-time API Enablement Specialist will manage customer onboarding and integration processes, collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless technical support and documentation, while working remotely or in a hybrid setup.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during onboarding and integration
• Lead the integration process for eCommerce and API connections, ensuring technical alignment and readiness
• Drive post-launch adoption and retention by proactively engaging customers with updates and best practices

Required qualifications

• Previous experience as an implementation consultant, integration engineer, or similar role
• Expert-level knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating APIs into various platforms
• Some technical experience, ideally from a coding bootcamp or software engineering background
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC) and tools like Postman and OpenAPI specifications
• Hands-on experience with Shopify API integrations, with bonus experience in other eCommerce platforms
