API Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain APIs in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET 8 Minimal APIs for platform domains
• Integrate with Kong Gateway for authentication/authorization and manage routing policies
• Write robust unit and integration tests for API endpoints and support API documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of professional experience in C#/.NET, preferably .NET Core or Minimal APIs
• Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and writing automated tests (xUnit or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes workflows
• Familiarity with API gateway concepts and ability to write OpenAPI/Swagger specs
• Proven adaptability to changing priorities, requirements, and technologies
