API Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support API development initiatives, the contract API Full Stack Engineer will work remotely, focusing on building and maintaining secure APIs using Node.js and Express, while integrating with various data sources such as Postgres and Snowflake.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced REST APIs, including endpoint design, authentication patterns, and data contracts
• Integrate APIs with source systems and ensure secure data exchange, error handling, and performance tuning
• Document API specifications and maintain logging and monitoring processes for optimal performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Node.js and Express development
• Advanced proficiency in REST API design and backend development
• Experience with API authentication, authorization, and secure data exchange
• Intermediate to advanced skills in integrating APIs with Postgres, Snowflake, and other systems
• Familiarity with healthcare or provider data integration is preferred
