API Gateway Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with middleware and application teams, the full-time API Gateway Engineer will administer and support the Layer 7 API Gateway platform, ensuring secure and scalable API integrations in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support the Layer 7 API Gateway platform across environments
• Proactively monitor API traffic and incidents, ensuring high availability and quick resolution
• Maintain API documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software engineering and API development
• Strong hands-on experience with Layer 7 API Gateway (Broadcom CA Layer 7)
• Deep knowledge of security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and SSL/TLS
• Experience with Agile SDLC and working with product owners
• Familiarity with multi-region and multi-cloud architectures
