API Gateway Surge Engineer
Job Summary
To support API management efforts, the contract Kong/API Gateway Surge Engineer will implement, configure, and troubleshoot Kong Enterprise API Gateway products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and configure Kong Enterprise API Gateway products, including plugins and policies
- Integrate and validate developer portal configurations and CI/CD processes
- Document troubleshooting processes and provide migration support and knowledge transfer
Required qualifications
- Experience with Kong Enterprise API Gateway products
- Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps integration
- Ability to perform observability integration
- MBI Clearance preferred
- Strong documentation skills related to API management
