API Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API / Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade APIs and integrations in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance RESTful APIs and backend integration components
• Design middleware workflows, interface connectors, and system integration layers
• Implement secure authentication flows and support data ingestion across enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in API development or system integration engineering
• Experience designing and supporting REST APIs and backend integration services
• Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs and understanding authentication protocols
• Active Top Secret clearance supported by a Tier 5 background investigation
