Job Summary
Serving as the senior hands-on technical lead for enterprise API management and integration, the remote API Integration Lead will manage the WSO2 API Manager environment, focusing on API publication, custom integration, and supporting product teams across various operational stages.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the design, publication, versioning, and monitoring of APIs within the WSO2 API Manager environment
- Implement security policies, rate limiting, and production support for enterprise API management
- Collaborate with application teams to advise on API contracts, integration patterns, and troubleshoot issues in a Linux-hosted environment
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in API integration, middleware, or closely related enterprise integration work
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, TLS/SSL, and API security policies
- Experience with automated pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git/GitHub
- Production troubleshooting experience in Linux-hosted API or middleware environments
