API Lifecycle Automation Developer
Job Summary
To support the IRS Enterprise API Gateway Modernization and Operations effort, the full-time remote API Lifecycle Automation Developer will design and maintain automated onboarding workflows, build configuration as code artifacts, and develop Developer Portal capabilities while focusing on achieving mandated automation targets.
Key responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated API onboarding workflows integrated into approved CI/CD pipelines
- Builds and maintains configuration-as-code artifacts supporting API lifecycle management
- Implements automated governance and Zero Trust validation checks within onboarding/migration pipelines
Required qualifications
- 7 years of experience in similar roles
- Experience with secure EAG/API-gateway automation workflows and developer portal integrations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- MBI certification is preferred
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required
