API Performance Lead

Job Summary

To drive API performance initiatives, the full-time API Performance Lead will design and implement performance testing solutions, develop custom JMeter scripts, and conduct advanced performance diagnostics while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment in Atlanta.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end performance testing solutions, including capacity planning and workload modeling
• Lead API automation testing initiatives and integrate performance scripts into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks and provide performance tuning recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Hands-on experience with SoapUI for creating and configuring mock APIs
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining JMeter scripts for API performance testing
• Experience with performance diagnostics tools such as Kibana and Kubernetes
• Ability to mentor QA engineers and lead technical reviews for API testing practices
