API Tech Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an API Tech Lead who will oversee the development and management of APIs while leading a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of APIs, including specifications, endpoints, and data models
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of 3-4 developers
• Contribute production-grade code and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and security

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with the RSpec testing framework
• Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining APIs
• Ability to lead engineering teams while remaining hands-on with development
