API Test Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced API Test Engineers will find a full-time opportunity focused on executing testing for interoperability solutions, validating APIs against business rules and regulations, and performing API testing using various QA tools.

Key responsibilities

• Execute testing for interoperability solutions including CRD, DTR, PAS, Member Access, and Payer-to-Payer APIs
• Create and execute test cases, test data, and test scenarios for FHIR-based integrations
• Identify, log, and track defects while supporting resolution with development teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience in API and integration testing
• Basic to intermediate understanding of API testing (REST, JSON)
• Experience with VS Code or similar tools for testing
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability concepts, including CMS regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
