Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Apigee Developer / Integration Engineer, the full-time remote position will design, develop, deploy, and support APIs using the Google Cloud Apigee platform while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy APIs and API proxies using Apigee
- Implement API security and manage API lifecycle activities including testing and monitoring
- Integrate APIs with backend applications and troubleshoot performance issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee, including Apigee X or Apigee Edge
- Experience developing REST APIs and knowledge of API management concepts
- Familiarity with API security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT
- Understanding of OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and API troubleshooting techniques
