Apparel Designer for Athleisure

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Apparel Designer for Athleisure and Outerwear, the full-time remote position will focus on designing innovative products across fleece and outerwear categories, translating market insights into compelling designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development process.

Key responsibilities

• Turn trend research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis into commercially strong product concepts
• Design across athleisure, fleece, and outerwear categories with attention to silhouette, comfort, proportion, and performance
• Create detailed tech packs, CADs, bills of materials, and construction notes for development and production

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of apparel design experience with a portfolio reflecting strong taste and proven commercial success
• Strong knowledge of athleisure, activewear, and outerwear construction
• Experience with performance fabrics and garment engineering for comfort and functionality
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM systems
• Ability to assess prototype samples for fit, balance, and performance
