Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Coordinator: Peer to Peer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with payers and medical directors
  • Document information from payer calls and update account status in multiple databases
  • Support various departmental functions including case entry and appeals support
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm)
  • Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and payer portals preferred
