Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator, Appeals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather necessary documentation for insurance appeals
  • Write, prepare, and submit appeals to insurance companies
  • Maintain detailed documentation and perform follow-up on submitted appeals
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, RN, or related behavioral health field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managed care/healthcare setting
  • Previous utilization review experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
