Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager - Appeals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned teams and staff
- Develop, monitor, and use quality control procedures and audit criteria
- Provide guidance to subordinates and recommend changes to policies
Required Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certification or Law degree highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience required
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position
- Experience in healthcare law, arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution or claims and appeals adjudication in healthcare
- Familiarity with Appeals & Hearings required; expertise within the Hearings & Appeals function strongly preferred
