Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Representative responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ETM task list assignments and determine appropriate actions for denials
• Post rejection codes and obtain status updates by contacting carriers
• Identify trends in claims and participate in department meetings with the Accounts Receivable Team

Required Qualifications

• One year of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate with excellent organizational skills
