Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Representative responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ETM task list and rebill/appeal claims as necessary
• Determine appropriate actions for denials based on carrier requirements
• Identify trends in claims and suggest preventive measures for future occurrences

Required Qualifications

• One year of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate with excellent organizational skills
