Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Representative to manage payment denials and appeals processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review payment denials, processing claims within assigned time frames
• Utilize various resources to expedite resolution of denied claims
• Assemble and forward documentation for appeal processes and report on claims review errors

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous medical billing experience preferred, focusing on denial research and appeal processing
• Knowledge of Physician Billing Policies and Procedures across multiple states
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant billing software
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently, including potential overtime
