Appeals Representative

Job Summary

Appeals Representative, a full-time position responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage ETM task list assignments, comments, and rebills/appeals as necessary
• Determine appropriate actions for denials based on carrier requirements and maintain documentation
• Participate in department meetings and identify trends in claims to improve processing efficiency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• One year of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
