Appeals Representative

Job Summary

Appeals Representative, a full-time position responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals to ensure efficient processing of invoices.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ETM task list, comments, and rebills/appeals claims as necessary
• Post appropriate rejection codes and establish carrier contact for status updates on appeals
• Identify trends in claims and participate in department meetings with the Accounts Receivable Team

Required Qualifications

• One year of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
