Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist (Part B South).

Key Responsibilities
  • Researches and responds to inquiries from providers, suppliers, and beneficiaries regarding the appeals process
  • Interprets requests and determines appropriate responses to resolve issues
  • Conducts research on federal regulations and Medicare/Medicaid policies to support decision-making
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of general office experience, with education in administration or business potentially substituting for experience
  • One year of Medicare Qualified Independent Contractor appeals experience or professional business writing experience in related fields
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Medicare Part B experience is preferred
