Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist (Veteran Affairs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides customer service and responds to inquiries received by phone, fax, mail, or email
  • Interprets requests and determines appropriate responses to resolve issues
  • Conducts research using federal regulations and contract policies to support decisions
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of general office experience
  • One (1) year of Veterans Affairs (VA) experience or professional business writing experience in relevant industries
  • United States Citizen with residency in the continental U.S. for three (3) of the last five (5) years
  • Ability to successfully complete a Federal Background Investigation with the VA
