Key Responsibilities

Analyze appeals and grievances, prioritizing and organizing information for processing
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring confidentiality of medical information
Assist in unit projects and provide feedback for workflow improvements

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
3 years of experience in managed care, health care, or insurance payor environments
Preferred: College degree
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with CareFirst systems or related areas is a plus
