Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist to assist with insurance denials and maximize reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with insurance denials by preparing and submitting appeals and following up until resolution
  • Monitor reports and documentation to identify root causes of denials and implement action plans
  • Maintain relationships with third-party payors and collaborate with various departments to enhance appeal activities
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, or healthcare-related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on administrative and financial work
  • Experience with denials or appeals is required
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in computer systems, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding and changing environment
