Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Interpret requests and determine appropriate responses independently
  • Log calls and receipts, identify trends, and schedule coordination meetings as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of general office experience
  • One year of Medicare appeals experience OR one year of professional business experience in healthcare, customer service, or legal industries
  • Inpatient Hospital and/or Home Health Hospice claims/appeals experience preferred
  • Appeals/grievances experience and dispute resolution experience preferred
