Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Appeal team in reviewing member and provider appeals related to plan benefit disputes
• Manage daily operations of the Appeals department, ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards
• Provide training and development for team members while overseeing performance evaluations and growth opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• At least 3 years of experience in health insurance, appeals investigation, and processing
• Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in management and training
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of computer systems and coding terminology
• Exceptional writing skills for clear and concise correspondence
