Appellate Associate Attorney
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Appellate Associate Attorney with experience in appellate and advanced motions to research complex legal issues, draft appellate briefs, and prepare and argue significant motions while collaborating with trial teams across the nation.
Key responsibilities
- Researching and analyzing complex legal issues in state and federal courts
- Drafting appellate briefs, petitions, and other appellate filings
- Preparing and arguing dispositive motions and evidentiary motions in various litigation phases
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably where the firm has an office
- 3+ years of experience in appellate practice, judicial clerkship, or complex litigation
- Demonstrated experience in drafting appellate briefs and arguing complex motions
- Strong understanding of state and federal procedural and appellate rules
