Appian Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Appian Architect, the candidate will support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities for a federal grants management system, focusing on assessing technical architecture, cloud infrastructure, and application quality in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Appian architecture, configuration, performance, and release documentation
• Evaluate AWS cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness
• Identify technical risks, document findings, and recommend corrective actions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, IV&V, or quality assurance
• Experience with Appian, including Appian Cloud, application architecture, and release management
• Experience reviewing AWS cloud environments, preferably within FedRAMP or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies
