Appian Integration Developer
Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Appian Integration Developer will design, develop, and maintain integrations between the Appian platform and Department of Veterans Affairs source systems, working remotely within the continental US.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leads to manage integration architecture and technical specifications throughout the service development lifecycle
- Lead the design and development of system and data integrations between VA source systems and the Appian platform
- Develop secure connections to external systems using REST, SOAP, and related integration technologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, with at least two years of relevant IT experience
- At least two years of experience with Appian application delivery and enterprise application integration
- Experience designing and implementing REST and SOAP web services and integrations with microservice endpoints
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, and SQL, along with experience using application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat
- Experience implementing integrations in AWS using services such as Lambda and S3
