Application Administrator

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Application Administrator will assist customers in optimizing their Atlassian software, including configuring and customizing applications like Jira and Confluence, while responding to requests and automating processes to enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high proficiency in Atlassian and Adaptavist toolsets, contributing to team knowledge sharing and best practices
• Monitor and respond to customer requests on the Adaptavist service desk, providing timely configuration solutions
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored configuration and automation solutions

Required qualifications

• Experience administering the Atlassian toolset, particularly Jira and Confluence
• Demonstrated experience in consulting and user support
• Proficiency in customizing Atlassian software through workflows and add-ons, such as ScriptRunner
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment using online tools
• Experience in creating technical documentation and sharing knowledge
