Application Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting the Emergency Routing Service (ERS) platform, the full-time Application Administrator will maintain application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable service delivery for public safety organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of the ERS platform and related services
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of application and integration issues, including major incident response activities
- Utilize monitoring tools to identify service degradation and develop automation for routine operational tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
- Experience administering Linux and/or Windows-based server environments
- Working knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting concepts
- Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes
