Application Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the deployment and maintenance of mission-critical Building Automation System (BAS) servers and applications, the full-time salaried Application Analyst will serve as a solutions architect, ensuring system reliability and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning, implementation, and maintenance of BAS servers and applications, ensuring alignment with university standards and security policies
• Provide support for BAS applications and IoT device management, coordinating with vendors and central IT teams
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to maintain documentation and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience
• 2-3 years of experience deploying and configuring Windows servers
• Demonstrated experience with relational databases, preferably SQL
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional technical specifications
• Commitment to excellent customer service and technical support in a diverse environment
