Application Architect

Job Summary

As a remote Expert Application Architect, the full-time position will focus on defining end-to-end application and solution architectures, managing architectural changes across multiple projects, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring quality deliverables for client initiatives in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Define application and solution architectures to support customer initiatives and programs
• Identify and address architecturally significant changes, completing architecture impact assessments and preparing technical documentation
• Mentor junior staff and assign architecture resources across a portfolio of projects, ensuring quality through final reviews of document deliverables

Required qualifications

• Ten or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience
• Experience with architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel
• Preferred experience in enterprise architecture within a healthcare environment
