Application Architect
Job Summary
To support a modernization mission, the full-time remote Application Architect will leverage expertise in legacy systems and cloud architecture to define modernization roadmaps, design innovative software frameworks, and provide technical leadership to application development teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define, assess, and prioritize modernization strategies for mainframe applications
- Design cutting-edge software frameworks and resolve any design weaknesses
- Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide application design standards
Required qualifications
- Architectural experience in large customer change and transformation projects
- In-depth knowledge of hardware and software connectivity between platforms
- Experience with mainframe projects including modernization, integration, and migration
- Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM Software Products
- Preferred certification from The Open Group as a Master Certified Architect or equivalent
