Job Summary
Supporting database activities for various web applications, the remote contract Application DBA (MS SQL) will perform database performance analysis, create and modify tables and stored procedures, and optimize queries to enhance database performance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct database performance analysis and optimization to improve query efficiency
- Create and modify tables, stored procedures, and indexes to meet operational needs
- Support go-live activities for web applications by ensuring database readiness and performance
Required qualifications
- Expertise in MS SQL 2025 or earlier, Postgres, Mongo DB, and Big Query
- Experience writing and analyzing complex SQL queries with extensive selects and joins
- Proficiency in using SQL Server Management Studio, Datagrip, and SQL Sentry for debugging
